L A Design Studio was founded in 1995 by architect Les Abbott with the view to providing a personal and friendly but professional architectural service to discerning clients.
Careful consideration for the practical aspects of architectural design while meeting the individual lifestyle needs of clients has been the hallmark of the designs that he has produced.
His early background in structural engineering has given him a good understanding of building dynamics and design. Successful projects range from beachfront apartments and executive homes to townhouse developments and residential alterations. He has also designed many low and hi-tech industrial and commercial complexes.
He is based in Hermanus.
