I have a problem with rain water penetrating either my walls or the parapet walls of my house, this causes a bubbling of the paint in certain areas of the house. Although the parapet walls have been sealed by the builder, this situation is continuing, can it be that the water is penetrating the plaster of the walls?

I asked Sylvia of Top Seal for a solution to this writer's problem and received the following advice:

Yes, plaster is not watertight or water resistant and penetration of water is probably at least one of your problems, the other is adhesion. Old and new cement does not adhere well and minute gaps exist between your old and new works. We suggest QD Cement Sealer Compound and Black Universal Sealer to solve the problem.
